Pre-dispersed Masterbatch R-80 is a specialized adhesive compound that ensures strong bonding between rubber and textiles or metals, making it ideal for tire manufacturing and general rubber products.
- Manufactured from high-purity resorcinol blended with polymers and dispersants
- Functions as an adhesive for rubber, textiles, and metals
- Used with formaldehyde donors like H-80 to form a resorcinol-formaldehyde resin bonding system
- Ensures strong adhesion between rubber and textile or steel cord reinforcements
- Easy dispersion during mixing eliminates volatility issues of pure crystalline resorcinol
- Non-dusting formulation suitable for automatic weighing and accurate measurement
Suitable for tires and general rubber products requiring strong rubber-to-textile or rubber-to-metal bonding.
- Typical dosage: 3-4 parts
- Added to the masterbatch during processing
- Add resorcinol component first, followed by adhesive donor during final mixing stage
- Optimal resorcinol to adhesive donor ratio: 1:1.5 to 1:2
