Chemical Plasticizer Overview
Technical Introduction
This environmentally friendly chemical plasticizer is composed of 2,2′-dibenzoylamino diphenyl disulfide (DBD) combined with highly active synergistic substances. It disperses easily during rubber mastication or mixing, rapidly promoting scission of rubber macromolecular chains while deactivating and stabilizing resulting free radicals.
This formulation quickly reduces Mooney viscosity, shortens mixing time, decreases energy consumption, and improves both mixing efficiency and quality. The Mooney viscosity remains stable post-processing, ensuring consistent batch uniformity with minimal impact on vulcanization characteristics and physical properties of the final rubber product.
Optimal plasticizing effect occurs above 70°C, with peak performance at 140-160°C.
Application Areas
Ideal for tire manufacturing and rubber product processing, including mastication of natural and synthetic rubber, and carbon black masterbatch mixing in the first stage.
Usage Instructions
  • Add simultaneously with raw rubber at the beginning of mastication or first stage mixing
  • Recommended addition amount: 0.1-0.3 phr
