A specialized protective wax that forms a durable film on conveyor belts and rubber surfaces, reducing photodegradation and providing effective physical anti-aging protection.
Product Overview
Type B Microcrystalline Wax is a physical anti-aging agent for rubber, formulated as a complex mixture of selected microcrystalline waxes with carefully balanced paraffin wax additions. This product dissolves completely during rubber mixing and vulcanization processes.
Protection Mechanism
During product use and storage, the wax creates a supersaturated paraffin solution within the rubber compound. Paraffin hydrocarbon molecules continuously migrate to the surface, establishing a stable equilibrium that maintains a protective wax film. This dynamic process provides long-term protection by preventing oxygen and ozone from damaging the rubber substrate.
Performance Characteristics
The protective film remains stable across temperatures from -10℃ to 50℃, offering excellent stability and dynamic stress resistance. The wax film also significantly reduces light-induced damage to rubber materials.

Usage Instructions
  • Granular form suitable for automatic metering and manual mixing
  • Add at the beginning of mixing process to ensure proper dispersion
  • Recommended for internal mixers; for open mills, maintain temperature at least 10℃ above melting point
  • Dosage recommendations: Tires 1-4 phr, Conveyor belts 2-6 phr, Other rubber products maximum 10 phr (determine optimal dosage through testing)
